Statistics

The importance, value and unfettered access to good statistics is part of the fundamental bedrock of a thriving democracy and helps all of us to make more informed decisions about issues that matter to us, both big and small.

Statistics Jersey (Statistics Jersey Homepage)
Jersey’s statistical system is led by the Chief Statistician and a group of people working together at Statistics Jersey, an independent unit within the Chief Minister’s office. Statistics Jersey has the responsibility to produce Jersey’s Official Statistics.

Other public authorities in Jersey including the various departments of the Government of Jersey and organisations that receive funding from the Government of Jersey also produce statistics.
See Jersey in Figures to learn more about these statistics.
